Training as a medical tattoo artist means you too can make a profound difference in the lives of women like Lisa. Her story is a testament to the power of our industry to restore confidence, wholeness and joy. Why not turn your passion into a purpose-driven career, creating life-changing results? Read more about Lisa's journey below.

Necrosis is a word that strikes fear into the hearts of many, and for Lisa, it became a harsh reality. Over the course of seven operations, she faced the unimaginable challenge of losing her nipples. Yet, her spirit remained unbroken – a testament to the incredible care and expertise she received, coupled with her own resilience and optimism.
Throughout, Lisa was supported by the outstanding team at our local Alexandra Hospital in Redditch. The staff provided five-star service, ensuring she felt cared for and supported every step of the way. From the nurses to the surgeons, everyone played a crucial role in her healing process, offering not just medical expertise, but also compassion and understanding.
At the heart of this was Jevan Taylor, the Clinical Director for Breast Services. Jevan's expertise and dedication have been instrumental in reconstructing Lisa’s breasts over time. His meticulous work and artistic touch have made her breasts look amazing, giving her not just a physical transformation, but also a renewed sense of confidence and self-esteem.
After the extensive surgeries, there was one final step to complete Lisa’s journey – designing new nipples. This is where I had the honour of stepping in. With a blank canvas before me, I had the opportunity to create new nipples for Lisa, literally adding the cherry on top.
Creating these new nipples was a deeply personal and meaningful experience for both Lisa and me. We worked together to design ones that would not only look natural but also restore a sense of normalcy and wholeness. The process was a collaborative one, filled with moments of joy, laughter and even tears, as we celebrated each small victory along the way.
Lisa’s story through necrosis and the subsequent surgeries was undoubtedly challenging, but it was also a one of hope. The support from the Alex, the incredible work by Jevan Taylor and the creation of of her new nipples have all played a part in her remarkable transformation.
Like so many of the women I work with I am deeply grateful to have been a part of Lisa’s journey as she overcame adversity and found strength. That's the driving force behind launching our Medical Tattoo Training Academy. I'd love to chat our courses, please get in touch to find out more.
